In November Maserati finally presented its new flagship product: the Quattroporte GranSport. The frame wherein this masterpiece was officially introduced to the public was the Los Angeles Auto Show, a great remarkable event not only in the USA. It seems likely to think that this was possible thanks to the extraordinary success that SUV Levante has gained in the United States. Within the Maserati walls they might have thought of focussing on the sportive essence of Quattroporte so that it could easily satisfy American customers.

After the launch of Grand Lusso, the quintessence of luxury, Quattroporte Gransport was almost a compulsory step. One of the reasons why Maserati in so special is that it is able to combine, inside the pages of its catalogue, class and dynamism through a very good balance with no excess at all.

Together with a better comfort for both drivers and passengers, Maserati Quattroporte GranSport promises a lot of sophisticated driving assistance systems, even more than the original model. However, the most astonishing feature is the car body design that is very much aggressive thanks to side and central airways, the bumper and the wheel rims as well.

The interior design is slightly different from the original one with its comfortable seats and a new steering wheel. The lacquered wooden dashboard and the steel pedals will not make the car any faster but, we bet, they will give the driver a more energetic and authentic experience so that he will not forget that, underneath an elegant look, Maserati Quattroporte Gransport is first of all a great Supercar.
