Huracán Follow Me
02 Nov 2016We are now used to any promotional initiative where all the most famous automotive firms have somehow appeared or included their logos. In the huge mess of sponsorships and events, we cannot help but see that each of them has kept its own style and preferences. Maserati loves to go hand in hand with sailing and other sportive activities. Rolls-Royce is more old fashioned and interested in artists and exhibitions. Ferrari and Porsche stick to their traditions in order to awake a sense of belonging in their customers.
Lamborghini is, though, the one that might have found the most brilliant promotional channel ever. In order to become an institution in its field, it has used the support of real institutions. Many vehicles were given to police (as we wrote here) confirming, thus, to the whole world the reliability and energy of the brand. That is why we can see Huracán Follow Me on track at the Bologna airport. It will lead the aircraft through the many buildings of the structure. These models are black and yellow as if they were wearing a working uniform.
This is just a test-case that will continue until January 2017 with a promotional intent but it is highly possible that this experience will inspire the most wealthy airports to get this as a standard treatment. Besides its colours, Huracán is the Supercar we all expect it to be with a V10 engine empowered by 610 horse power.
